Users get a better picture of data with PixPoint for ArcGIS. PixPoint automatically links digital pictures to records within an ArcGIS database and embeds location data in the metadata of each image to provide a clear picture of the attributes, features, and more for each pinpointed location. PixPoint's SP™ technology integrates the picture with GPS location data, resulting in smarter pictures and better data that can be accessed from within ArcGIS. Users select a picture to see its location or select a location to see its associated pictures. PixPoint can also be used with ArcPad, providing more options and ease of use in the field. It can also be used with Red Hen Systems' Blue2CAN. All that is needed is any brand of digital camera, a popular brand of GPS receiver, and ArcGIS to make maps better with PixPoint.
